Cancellation Policy
By booking with A1 Marine Care, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms: 1. Non-Refundable Deposit • A $250 CAD deposit is required to confirm all service appointments. • This deposit will be applied as a credit to your final invoice but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, resale of the vessel, or any circumstance that prevents us from completing the service as scheduled. 2. Boat Ownership Changes • If the vessel is sold before services are completed, the original client remains responsible for all outstanding fees. • Services may be transferred to the new owner with written consent, at which point they will assume all remaining payment responsibilities. • Any services already started or materials prepared are non-refundable. 3. Liability Disclaimer • A1 Marine Care is not liable for any pre-existing damage, underlying structural issues, or manufacturer defects that may impact the service. • Clients agree to release A1 Marine Care, its team members, and affiliates from any claims or damages except in cases of clear, documented negligence. 4. Service Standards & Limitations • We take pride in delivering top-tier workmanship using professional-grade products and methods. • We are not responsible for any outcomes related to untreated prior damage or ongoing poor maintenance practices. 5. Media Use & Promotion • We may capture photos or videos of your vessel before, during, and after service for marketing and promotional use. 6. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy • All appointments must be confirmed in advance. • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date will forfeit the $250 deposit as a cancellation fee. 7. Proprietary Techniques • All tools, methods, and techniques used during our services remain the intellectual property of A1 Marine Care and may not be copied or reused for commercial gain. 8. Payment Terms • Full payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing. • For larger projects, milestone payments may be required. • Failure to pay may result in late fees or legal action. 9. Agreement to Terms By booking with us, you confirm your acceptance of this service policy. These terms are also provided on your invoice, confirmation email, and service agreement. 10. Weather Policy • In the event of rain or any weather conditions that prevent safe or effective service on the scheduled date, the appointment will be rescheduled within the following 7 days.
